Our Story
Started in 2001. Beyond Design.
The story of YHFITNESS® begins with one person — and one year: 2001.
That year, Yu Hui entered the fitness equipment industry. But unlike most designers, he started from the ground up — making samples, designing packaging, analyzing costs. Every process, every bolt, every quote sheet gave him a deep, hands‑on understanding of how equipment goes from drawing board to finished product.
From sampling to design, from manufacturing to cost — he spent over fifteen years mastering every link in the production chain.
Then, he began to design.
Indoor fitness equipment, medical beds, hunting stands, outdoor fitness equipment, outdoor leisure products, office furniture — he worked across categories like a “design explorer.” Medical beds taught him precision and safety. Hunting stands taught him outdoor durability. Fitness equipment taught him ergonomics and training logic.
Most fitness equipment companies are run by manufacturers who learned design along the way. YHFITNESS was built the other way around — by a designer who learned manufacturing first.
In 2017, he went independent. he began offering independent services in product innovation and engineering implementation to clients.
In 2021, he founded Wuhan YuHe Design Co., Ltd. — turning twenty years of industry experience into a brand: YHFITNESS®.
Today, YHFITNESS does more than design equipment.
